This course provides opportunities for students to begin to develop and apply fundamental skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Simplified Chinese. Students will communicate and interact in structured activities and practical situations, with a focus on matters of personal interest and familiar topics and will read and write simple texts in the language. Throughout the course, students will acquire a general understanding and appreciation of diverse communities in regions of the world where the language is spoken. They will also develop skills necessary for lifelong language learning. 3:00PM TO 5:30PM Every Tuesday and Thursday starting from Oct 1st, 2019. This course will grant you 1 high school credit if student can graduate successfully from this program. Drop in students are also welcomed.
